And, I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it (the seed) shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Genesis 3:15.
Year's ago, Pentecostal minister, William Branham took this verse and added to it, falsely teaching that Satan had impregnated Eve with the seed of Cain. Though it has no biblical basis, it began a series of Bible awareness surrounding the seed of Satan.
The only mention of the serpents seed is in Genesis 3:15, suggesting that there are two seeds; a good seed, and a bad seed. Enmity is placed between the woman's seed and the bad seed, purposely causing a divide. Enmity is a deep seated hatred or hostility, between individuals or people groups, centered around the sovereignty of God, and the light of Christ Jesus. This represents an age old conflict between good and evil; a spiritual battle of sin and rebellion, and obedience to God.
In the Bible we find a stark contrast between two kingdoms; the kingdom of God (light) and the kingdom of Satan (darkness) This spiritual division wrestles for the soul of man. The seed of man is the soul; and every seed has its own body. The seed, defines the division between the two kingdoms.
Satan was a murderer from the beginning, and his first murder was Adam and Eve - not a physical murder, but a spiritual one: disobedience. Satan tempted Eve to eat the forbidden fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Eve ate of the fruit and shared it with Adam. The protective veil of God was removed, and Adam and Eve possessed the knowledge of good and evil; they saw the darkness that had been hidden from them. And, through this act of disobedience, all humanity had been sentenced.
Genesis 3:15 is the first Messianic prophecy surrounding the offspring; the seed who will crush the head of the snake. As a woman does not carry the seed, the Christ enters the world through the seed of the Holy Spirit; delivering the promised one. This is referred to scripturally as the seed of the woman, and the remnant of her seed: Revelation 12:17.
The seed is the bringer of life; the descendants of man. Hebrew: זַרְעֲךָ֖ zar·‘ă·ḵā = your seed, thy seed; offspring, descendants, generations: descendants leading to the promised Messiah. This Hebrew word is found in: Genesis 3:15; 13:16; 15:13; 21:13; 22:17; 26:24; 28:14; 32:12; Duet 11:10; I Samuel 20:42; Jerimiah 30:10; 46:27 and so on.
Genesis 13:15,16 - God to Abram: For all the land which you see, to thee will I give it and to thy seed (descendants: Israel) for ever. And I will make thy seed (your descendants) as the dust of the earth; so that if a man number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed be numbered.
In Genesis 17:7-10a: זַרְעֲךָ֖ zar·‘ă·ḵā is used in relation to the covenant.
Seed of covenant ... And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee. And I will give unto you, and to your seed after you, the land where you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. And God said unto Abraham, you shall keep my covenant therefore, thou and thy seed after thee in their generations. This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee....
The Hebrew: lə·zar·‘ă·ḵā is also used as seed or, decedents: Genesis 12:7;15:18; 24:7; 26:4; 48:4; Exodus 33:1 and Deuteronomy 34:4
While the seed of the woman holds both, a physical and spiritual implication, the seed of the serpent refers to a spiritual enmity; a hostile denial, a malcontent anti-Christ spirit in the battle for the soul. .... Now this is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. The seeds along the path are those who hear, but the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.… Luke 8:11,12.
Those who receive the seed by the way-side are those in whom the Message is sown, but, when they have heard it, Satan comes at once and carries away the Message sown in them. Mark 4:15
The seed of the woman is the Messiah: the Word of God, that must be sown and harvested: Luke 8:11-18; Matthew 13:18-23; Mark 4:14-20.
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

The Seed of the Serpent:
In Genesis, Satan is represented as a serpent, a creature of iniquity, cursed above all others, forced to his belly to eat the dust of the earth: 3:14 -- and earth becomes his kingdom. In Job 1:7, we discover that Satan roams the earth- going to and fro, and walking up and down in it. Peter describes him as the roaring lion who walks about, searching for someone to devour: 1 Peter 5:8.
After thousands of years of sowing deception, sin and bloodshed, the serpent has morphed into a great red dragon: And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns upon his heads. Rev 12:3
The red dragon is a symbolic representation of Satan, the snake, the serpent.
Revelation 12 describes the enmity placed between the woman and the serpent from Genesis 3:15. The woman (Israel) is clothed with the sun, the moon is under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars is upon her head. The red dragon stands before her, ready to devour her child; the promised one, who will crush his head, and rule the world with a rod of iron.
The devil seeks to destroy the woman and the man child, in order to prevent the birth of the Messiah, and eventually, the second coming of Christ. The red dragon aims to devour the man child, and destroy the remaining seed; the descendants of Abraham. The prophecy spans time, and presents an ongoing spiritual battle that continues into the Great tribulation, as the dragon seeks to destroy the remnant of her seed, and those who have the testimony of the Christ: Rev 12:17
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keeps the commandments of God, and has the testimony of Christ Jesus.
After the dragon declares war upon the remnant of the woman's seed and those who have the testimony of Christ Jesus; the dragons seed, his spawn, the beast, rises from the sea in Revelation 13:1-4. We know from Daniel 7:3;23,24 that the four beasts that rose from the sea represent four beast kingdoms.
3) And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. 23) The fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on earth which will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, and tread it down and crush it.
Beast in the Aramaic, is חֵיוְתָא which translates to: animal. Beast in the Greek is: θηριον -wild animal, genetically non-human, an animal hunted by man. Beast is a descriptive marker for a wild, untamed animal, defining the characteristics of three kingdoms which ruled over the middle east; the lion, the bear, and the leopard. There is one left, the remaining one which has not yet come... the beast with ten horns.
The beast from the sea has received the seven heads, (seven world kingdoms) from the red dragon, which showcase the dragon's seat of power and authority. This can be seen by the position of the seven diadems - one for each kingdom. Rev 12:3. The dragon will transfer the seat (throne) of his power and authority, to his rising beast kingdom. When the beast kingdom rises from the sea, the diadems are removed from the seven heads, and replaced with the name of blasphemy. The kingship of seven world kingdoms is removed, and crowns are placed upon the ten horns, transferring ruling power to the ten horns.
Satan had offered Christ Jesus his worldly kingdoms, and all the glory they contained, under one condition: Christ had to submit before him in worship.
The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. If you worship me, it will all be yours.”
The son of man declined Satan's offer, and said: “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’" Luke 4:5,6,7
The little horn, (antichrist) will submit before the red dragon, in worship; and accept the offer that Christ Jesus refused. In return, the red dragon hands his seven kingdoms, the throne of his power and authority: Rev 13:2b, over to the beast of the ten horns. The beast of ten horns is the seventh world kingdom, which rises to seize global power just prior to the tribulation period. This is the kingdom from where the little horn will rise. Satan empowers the little horn, and he rises to extraordinary heights of power among the ten horns. Those who submit to the authority of the beast kingdom, or form an alliance to the beast kingdom, will also bow before the red dragon, in worship before the image of his kingdom. This in turn creates a massive anti-God, anti-Christ, anti-Israel, anti-Christian kingdom.
The beast is created in the image of the red dragon; it is his seed or, spawn. The beast out of the sea represents a kingdom; the future kingdom where a little horn will rise among ten kings to dominate the world. The beast is a kingdom, and the little horn or antichrist is its king. The little horn who rises from this kingdom will make war with the saints and the remnant of the woman's seed, and they will be given into his hand for 42 months. Daniel 7:25, Rev 13:7.
The θηριον, the beast, is the same color as the dragon Rev 13:1;17:3, and he has the same seven heads and ten horns; creating a mini mi - the dragons beastly spawn. The beast is created in the image of the red dragon; he is the dragons spawn or seed; a little mini-me of Satanic pride - the seed of the serpent who rises from the abyss to conquer the world: Rev 17:8,11.
